Dr. R. Hafeez Basha
Hon’ble President
Dr. Hafeez Basha is currently the CEO of Osmania Technology Business Incubator, Osmania University. He was a Mentor of Change, Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) in 2018 and later got empanelled as a Mentor at various Atal Incubation Centres (AICs) and Atal Community Innovation Centres (ACICs) under Atal Innovation Mission, NITI-Aayog. He was also a Mentor at the Entrepreneurship Development Centre (EDC), Office of the Development Commissioner, Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME). He was invited by the prestigious Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions in 2019 as an Advisor / Expert to prepare the question paper for the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination.
In the year 2020, he served the Ministry of Education (formerly Ministry of Human Resource Development) as a Member of – the Independent Expert Committee to evaluate Ed-Tech startups for the National Educational Alliance for Technology (NEAT) a public-private partnership model implemented by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). He was Nodal Officer for the flagship programme Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) and other schemes including the Vidyanjali Higher Education Volunteer Programme, Kalam Program for IP Literacy and Awareness (KAPILA), etc. He was also a Member – the National Rural Entrepreneurship Mission where he was instrumental in establishing Rural Entrepreneurship Development Cells (R-EDCs) at educational institutions through Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural Education (MGNCRE), Hyderabad in 2021.
He was Selection Committee Member – National Centre for Additive Manufacturing (NCAM), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MEITY) in 2022.
He is presently the Institute Management Committee Member – National Skill Training Institute (NSTI-Hyderabad) and Coordinator – National Instructional Media Institute (NIMI-Chennai), Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) since 2023.
